WEEK 17 OF FEB TO 22 We did a 1.8 % gel. Learned how to make one and poor one. Samples we put in was 6,8,11, &20. Then we had to do another gel to redo 7 and 10. We also poured plates.
WEEK 10-15 of FEBRUARY Did many gram staining usually do aquaticus but we did mostly caeni which was very interesting. Some having a positive chain rod.
WEEK 2nd OF FEBRUARY TO THE 8th Did tons of TGY agar and learned how to make other kinds of broth like nutrient, TSYE, LM media, AB, base media and etc.
WEEK 27 OF JANUARY TO THE 1st OF FEBRUARY We did DNA Isolation on 5 different bacteria’s which we did ( pimenis, aquatics, gobiensis, grand is, indicas ) and we nano drop them and put them into the PCR
WEEK 20- 25 OF JANUARY We did many gram stains this week. To see which bacteria 🦠is contaminated and to see which ones we can do DNA 🧬 isolation and PCR
